Frequently asked questions
How is a round scored?
Each player calls how many tricks they expect to win (at least 1; the four calls must add up to at least 9). If you win at least your call, you score the call plus one extra-hand unit for each extra trick. If you win fewer, you lose your call (for example, call 4 and win 3 → −4.0). Open How to Play in the app for full examples.
What is the difference between Base 10 and Base 13?
Extra-hand units carry into whole points: 10 units make a point in Base 10, and 13 in Base 13. Scores are written as points.units, so in Base 13, 1.12 means 1 point and 12 units. Choose the base for new games in Settings. A game always keeps the base it started with.
What does a negative score like −2.1 mean?
The minus applies to the whole score: minus 2 points and 1 unit.
I entered a round wrong. Can I fix it?
Yes, for games in progress and completed games. Open the score sheet (Show Score Sheet) or Game Details, tap the saved round, correct the calls or tricks, and tap Save. Totals and the winner update automatically. Games that were ended early or cancelled are read-only.
Can I have more than one game going?
Yes. Every unfinished game appears on Home under Continue Playing, and each resumes exactly where you left it.
What's the difference between ending and cancelling a game?
Ending early keeps the completed rounds and shows the leader at that point, but there's no official winner. Cancelling keeps the game in History with no winner. Both need confirmation.
Does LuBaazi need the internet or an account?
No. It works fully offline, with no account.
Where are my games stored? Can I move them to a new iPhone?
Games are stored only on your iPhone. LuBaazi has no cloud sync or export in version 1.0. An iPhone backup restored to a new iPhone, or a direct iPhone-to-iPhone transfer, normally includes app data. Deleting the app deletes its games.
Does LuBaazi handle money or bets?
No. LuBaazi only keeps score.
